In an era of rapid digital transformation and increasing global challenges, data-driven science and technology play a strategic role in building adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable systems.

As a national center of excellence in agromaritime, IPB University is committed to strengthening the role of science in addressing national and global development challenges. Indonesia — an archipelagic nation with extraordinary natural wealth — holds immense potential to become a global power in the agromaritime field.

In response, the School of Data Science, Mathematics, and Informatics (SSMI) at IPB University proudly hosts the International Conference on Data Science, Mathematics, and Informatics (ICoDMI). The conference will be held in a hybrid format on November 6–7, 2026 at the IPB International Convention Center (IICC) in Bogor, Indonesia.

The conference theme is "Empowering Sustainable Agromaritime through Data Science and Artificial Intelligence to Strengthen National Resilience" — reflecting IPB University's commitment to fostering the integration of science and technology, in line with the SDGs and the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.

Conference Objectives

  1. Explore the strategic roles of Data Science, Mathematics, Informatics, and AI in supporting a sustainable and inclusive agromaritime sector.
  2. Foster scientific contributions towards the SDGs through an interdisciplinary approach integrating innovation and data-driven science.
  3. Create a collaborative space for academics, researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to share ideas and best practices.
  4. Strengthen IPB University's position as a center of excellence in data-based agromaritime and expand its international network.
  5. Foster a spirit of research and innovation among the younger generation and early-career researchers.
  6. Provide a platform for disseminating research and development results that can contribute to data-driven policy formulation.
