In an era of rapid digital transformation and increasing global challenges, data-driven science and technology play a strategic role in building adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable systems. As a national center of excellence in agromaritime, IPB University is committed to strengthening the role of science in addressing national and global development challenges. Indonesia, an archipelagic nation with extraordinary natural wealth in the agricultural, marine, and fisheries sectors, holds immense potential to become a global power in the agromaritime field. However, this potential has not been fully optimized, particularly in the context of technological innovation and data-driven decision-making.

In response to this, the School of Data Science, Mathematics, and Informatics (SSMI) at IPB University is proud to host the International Conference on Data Science, Mathematics, and Informatics (ICODMI). This conference will be held in a hybrid format from November 6-7, 2025, with the in-person component taking place at the IPB International Convention Center (IICC) in Bogor, Indonesia.

The conference theme is “Empowering Sustainable Agromaritime through Data Science and Artificial Intelligence to Strengthen National Resilience”. This theme reflects IPB University’s commitment to fostering the integration of science and technology to build a resilient, equitable, and sustainable agromaritime sector, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.

The primary goals of ICODMI are:

• To explore the strategic roles of Data Science, Mathematics, Informatics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in supporting a sustainable and inclusive agromaritime sector at local, national, and global levels.
• To foster scientific contributions towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates technological innovation and data-driven science.
• To create a collaborative space for academics, researchers, industry practitioners, policymakers, and the public to share ideas, research findings, and best practices in the application of digital technology in the agromaritime sector.
• To strengthen IPB University’s position as a center of excellence in technology and data-based agromaritime and to expand its international network.
• To foster a spirit of research and innovation among the younger generation and early-career researchers.
• To provide a platform for the dissemination of research and development results that can contribute to data-driven policy formulation.

We invite academics, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to join this crucial forum to discuss the contribution of science and technology to the transformation of the agromaritime sector.
